Hamden, Connecticut, nicknamed “The Land of Sleeping Giant” is a vibrant and welcoming community known for its rich blend of suburban charm and urban convenience. We believe that every student deserves the opportunity to succeed, and we are dedicated to supporting high school seniors in their pursuit of higher education. To help alleviate the financial burden of college expenses, we raise funds to provide monetary awards specifically for purchasing college books and other incidentals. We award deserving students who demonstrate academic commitment and a passion for learning through a thoughtfully written essay.
Applicants are required to submit an essay that meets our criteria, showcasing their dedication, creativity, and aspirations for the future.
